ZCM explained

Zero Carbon Moreland is a community action project being run by the Moreland Energy Foundation as part of the Moreland Solar City project.

Zero Carbon Moreland aims to sign up 10 per cent of the Moreland community to commit to reducing greenhouse pollution by 20% by 2010.

which is:

• 5,000 households
• 500 local businesses
• 50 community organisations

Ultimately Zero Carbon Moreland aims to reach zero net emissions by 2030, in line with the Moreland City Council’s commitment.
